While the Spirtiz' flowed and the jugs of Pimms were shared amongst friends, music flooded James Street and its neighbouring corridors with all-ages coming out to enjoy the sunshine, the vibes and most importantly THE FOOD of James Street Food and Wine Trail! We Indulged in Bucci's Arancini Balls and Fresh Fish Co's Salt and Pepper Calamari while the wide range offered something for everyone and definitely made the choice of cuisine near impossible.
Bango secured extensive media coverage for the event including features in City North News, Courier Mail Weekend Extra, Courier Mail Queensland Taste and Brisbane News. James Street also took over the online feeds of many, appearing on The Urban List, Style Magazines, The Weekend Edition, Concrete Playground, Broadsheet Brisbane, My City Life, Gourmand and Gourmet, The Good Guide and many more. James Street Food and Wine Trail saw a french bulldog (or two) strolling the street, live demonstrations from the best chefs of the area and kids enjoying activities at their own little haven, Kids Camp. It was an event not to be missed and in true James Street style, a chic celebration of this precinct's premier foodie culture.

Asian foodie heaven was brought to life again by the team at Sunnybank $2 Food Trail! With their insane prize on offer (your own Asian adventure trip, valued at over $10,000) there was more than one reason to battle the crowds this year! Another amazing turn out of the Sunnybank community and beyond. Our taste buds are still watering over the Chilli Dou Fu Tofu with Sichuan Chilli and the Green Tea Soft Serves! There was something for everyone, and not just with the food, as the entertainment soared with Chinese dragon performers and much more.

What an incredible day that was had! Fish Lane Festival 2017 saw people from all over Brisbane come together to celebrate Fish Lane's premier cultural precinct. They presented an array of gourmet eats that had us ordering two of Gelato Messina's insane Robert Brownie Jr. and having one two many Colonial Brewing Co Pale Ale. All in all, a fantastic celebration of all this precinct has to offer, and how cool Brisbane really is.
